Denon is a 110-year-old Japanese audio giant, founded in 1910 by American Frederick Whitney Horn and still in business today. Over its long history as Japan's oldest such company, Denon — like its American analog RCA — has served as both manufacturer of audio media players (from Edison cylinders to compact discs) and a record label, too.
