Wichita Central Library Unisex Comfor-T
Wichita's former library building at 223 S. Main, built between 1965 and 1967, was the first Brutalist building in the state of Kansas, and the only Wichita building to this day to receive a design award from the American Institute of Architects. It served the public for more than 50 years, finally closing in 2018 when library services were moved to the new Advanced Learning Library building at 711 W. 2nd. Plans are in the works to convert the space into an event venue. Sure looks sharp on this snazzy, stately, comfy tee!
