In 1957, celebrating the half-centennial of Oklahoma statehood, the good people of Tulsa entombed a brand new Plymouth Belvedere in a specially built vault beneath the courthouse lawn. Fifty years later they dug it up — only to discover that the Mopar's crypt had been inundated with water for decades, ruining the car completely. Your humble designer was there in Tulsa on that day when Miss Belvedere's sad fate was unveiled to the world, and to commemorate that tragic moment in the history of automobilia, has whipped up this tribute tee!
