Madman Muntz Unisex Comfor-T
Earl "Madman" Muntz (1914-1987) was an American original, equal parts zany showman and legitimately brilliant technical innovator. Though he was the first to manufacture and market a television set for under $100, invented the precursor to the eight-track audio cartridge, designed and built his own car (the Muntz Jet) and popularized the term "TV," he is largely remembered today for his commercial persona, the original wacky TV pitchman whose novel approach to advertising has been copied ever since. We salute him today with this tee, based on vintage 1940s-1950s Muntz TV advertising collateral. What a character!
